We were a bit intimidated to go from recreational classes to competitive dance team, but have had a wonderful experience. They select local competitions, reuse costumes for recitals/competitions to keep costs down, and don't overschedule so that the dancers don't experience burnout. They embody the idea that dance should be a fun learning experience, not a stressful chore. My daughter looks forward to classes even during competition season, and we're so grateful to be a part of this amazing group of dancers.
