iKidz is a Montessori style after school care program that my girls love. Their afternoons start with a break to run around outside and enjoy the nice weather. (When the weather isn't nice they go play in the gym.) All of the kids get individual attention and homework help daily for about an hour. They are then encouraged to pursue enrichment activities relevant to their interests and needs. My girls needed a lot of help with spelling and penmanship and have improved a great deal in the time they have been there. There is always an afternoon snack to tide them over until dinner. The snacks are generally healthy and filling things such as fresh fruit or muffins. iKidz makes a point to include supplemental enrichment activities. My girls love the robotics club where they learn about how motors work and a variety of ways to build robots with those motors. There are also chess lessons, and periodically other opportunities come up for things like dance lessons. My kids are thriving at iKidz. I could not be happier about that.
