Huron Forest Camp CedarRidge is a Christian overnight camp on 120 acres inside the Huron National Forest at Oscoda, operating since 1941. It runs separate boys' and girls' camps plus a performing arts camp, with archery, canoeing, riflery, a low-ropes course, horseback riding at the corral and riding ring, swimming and outdoor living skills. Campers stay in cabins and tents with bathhouses in each area, and the site has a dining hall, pool, craft cabin, rec hall and camp store.

The directors and staff are godly and fun people, and a week at Camp Cedarridge will be filled with faith, fun, adventure, and personal growth. I still try to attend weekends now, even in my 30s (my husband and I have loved the Couples weekends), and we are attending our first family weekend with our new daughter.
★★★★SteveMy daughter really enjoys the camp, meeting new people, learning new life skills that she likes to share with her friends & family at home and of course she enjoys swimming in the pool during the girls free time. This summer was her 2nd time at camp & she went both weeks so with me being a very protective person, especially with family I took her the second week so I could meet the people and to see the facilities which really impressed me and made me feel better knowing how safe she’d be while there. They have well trained people with an RN onsite in case of an emergency or if one of the campers gets sick. I could go on but I’ll end my review by saying that I’d recommend this camp to everyone especially if you want your child to learn more about religion (I’m not a religious person) and to learn how to be a team player and new life skills. Oh, one more thing just some F. Y. I. the camp is surrounded by Federal Land. Sorry for the long review but I wanted & hoped I covered all the key things about the camp.
★★★★★Northern MIThis is an amazing place with amazing people. I have grown up in Nothern Michigan my entire life and never knew about this camp. The surroundings are beautiful and the people who work at this camp are loving, caring, compassionate, and godly people. It is a proven fact that the more people children have in a Christian community the more likely they will continue their faith as an adult. My daughter walked away from this camp with a community of Christians who continue to be part of her life. God is doing great things at this camp.

★★★★Jeffrey JonesThis was Mike's second year at camp and he thoroughly enjoyed the staff and friends new and old. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The days were chock-full of activities and they were well rounded. The meals were very good and the desserts were outstanding. This is a great place for a kid to be a kid. You can tell by the pictures that the boys were a Wildbunch that was cutting loose.
