Hummingbird Music Camp is a residential summer music camp in Jemez Springs, New Mexico (about an hour north of Albuquerque) for children ages 8-14. Week-long overnight sessions (Sunday to Sunday) run across eight weeks each summer, with group ensembles in band, guitar, orchestra, piano and voice for beginners through advanced players; one-week art and chess camps run alongside. Campers also enjoy traditional camp activities like campfires, overnight hikes, skits and cookouts.

★★★★★GuinevereI went here during week 2 of 2022 and had a lot of fun. The counselors and CITs eye all really nice and helpful and besides a few of the other campers the people were overall great. The food was good quality and there was always enough for everyone to have plenty. I really loved the opportunity to take a transfer class during free time so I got to learn something on top of main class, I did violin as my main but also got to learn voice because of transfer. The class felt to have a good level of instruction for all levels. The only issue I had was with accommodation for my sensory issues, but I was allowed my headphones.
