Humboldt Tennis Club runs a five-week summer tennis camp in one-week sessions, held 1-5pm Monday through Friday at McKinleyville High School's courts (weeks 1-2) and Highland Park in Eureka (weeks 3-5). It is a half-day program costing $150 per week, and no prior experience or equipment is required; days are built around games, drills and skill development, closing each Friday with water balloons. Campers are grouped as Future Stars (ages 4-8), Emerging Strikers (8-12) and Competitive Development (12-16), the last aimed at middle- and high-school players preparing for varsity play.

★★★★★Scott GriffinCourts are pretty decent and newly built as of a few years ago. 4 tennis courts with 1 pickleball specific area by the practice backstop. There are 2 more pickleball nets and court lines on the tennis court closest to the main pickleball court. Getting to the park is a bit odd, as you take Sunset Ave West and at the small roundabout take the first right into a residential area. Road is a bit narrow though. Follow the road until it turns right, then about 30 more yards is the court and parking lot for cars.
