The Hudson Recreation Department runs a municipal summer program for local youth over 7-8 weeks from late June through mid-August. It is an unstructured supervised-play program (not one-on-one support) running 9:00am to 4:00pm, with before- and after-care available for added fees (8am-5pm Mon-Thu, 8am-4pm Fri). Registration opens in late March with an early-bird rate, and resident and non-resident rates apply.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Hudson Recreation Department directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleI just want to give a big shoutout to Chrissy Peterson, the Recreation Director in Hudson. Every time I’ve dealt with her, she has been incredibly friendly, kind, and professional. Most recently, she went above and beyond to help me out last minute by getting my kids signed up for field trips. I really appreciated her patience and willingness to assist even on short notice. She truly cares about the families in the community and it shows. Thank you, Chrissy, for everything you do!
My daughter had so much at Fright Night. She bounced for hours. Thank you so much Hudson
My kids did really enjoy the summer program but this review is solely based off the fact my kids caught COVID and no one responded to my emails or phone calls. I ended up losing $80 because they wouldn’t refund me for a field trip they missed when they had COVID. No big deal, but a response to one of the 3 emails I sent to the director would have been nice.
Went to vote. It wad easy and not too much people.
They tore down the Skate Park to instead put up "pickleball courts"?! Seriously? We're supposed to be excited about that. I was upset about the original taking down of the park. My kids skate and we now have to drive a distance to get them to a decent park. All this time I thought they were Tennis Courts.... So today, I take my wife to play a few games, and to my dismay. They had the audacity to tear down a skate park to put up "Pickleball" courts. I'm not sure whose great idea that was, but they should be fired. Embarrassing as hell. All the surrounding towns have residential TENNIS COURTS, and we get pickleball.
