The Howard Community Center is a City of Columbus Recreation and Parks community center that hosts the department's summer day camp on North Cassady Avenue. Camp Howard runs eight themed weeks from June 8 through July 31 - Camp Kickstart, Arts Alive!, Game On!, Festival of Nations, Build-Topia, Enchanted Forest, Under the Sea and a Summer Sizzle Showcase. The citywide program combines recreation, games, arts and field activities, offers scholarship support, and provides inclusion services for campers with disabilities. Families register through Columbus Recreation and Parks.

★★★★Phonda WilesThey have a huge park. My youngest son practice football there for the Mifflin Sharks. The only thing I wish is if they could keep the center open for awhile longer. They close at 5:30 pm. I personally haven't been inside the recreational center. It's a nice place.
