Houston Hustlers Academy

This August will make a full year with Houston Hustlers Academy. My son enjoys his team mates. Coach Juan makes sure our boys are conditioned and teaches them to not only hustler, but to also think about the game. Cause and effects, and shows them proper mechanics. He has also got us in touch with pitching and hitting coaches.

I had taken down my original review just because they were calling my brother to have his son on the team and that they would apologize for what they did to my son. Tough coach Bri said my son was not allowed back on the team because I stood up for what she did to my son. On top of that she threatened that my son would not be welcomed to any other baseball team in Houston. Here is my original review they asked me to take down. My son was promised many things at this facility. When he joined I did not mind paying all the fees they would ask for. I paid $250 for uniforms and they messed up my sons number. Coach Bri hated my son discriminated him all the time and yelled at him worse than her own son that is on the team. My son was going to be catcher, they moved him from 3rd base to the outfield where he never actually played. What they were good for was asking for money all the time. I learned that if you didn't give more than what they asked they do not play your kid. On top of that I put up with all the bullying towards my son over a year because he loves playing and he was catching a ride there while I worked so I put up with the mistreatment. Finally yesterday a child forgot his cleats and coach Bri made my son take his shoes off and give them to the team mate. Ameture coach lol a real coach sits the player that forgot his shoes and let someone else play. I mean that's why I pay over $120 a month because each player should know how to play each position not just one. This place has no discipline they don't show the kids anything and mistreat them if the parent doesn't kiss their butt. Worst coach beware they have no class and very uneducated. Taking my sons shoes and sitting him out while he was prepared for the game was the last of it. I took him out right then and there. Coach needs to learn a lot more. Step yas game up coaches and stop worrying about winning. Discipline is key . Parents if you want your kid not to learn anything and get punished for someone else's mistake bring them here. Believe me I held back a lot of words

Barbershop very impressive!! Training facility’s as well! Staff were very professional. Heard about this place through word of mouth. No lie was very skeptical. Due to the to good to be true syndrome lol. Have to hand it to them. Houston Hustler’s did not disappoint! From the Barbershop to the food to the training facility to the staff. All was an excellent experience. I don’t usually leave a review. But felt I had to. Especially after the way everyone went above and beyond. Will definitely be recommending to my friends and family!!!

Enough space for a small event. It will get hot or cold, depending on season. Great small baseball park for entertaining guests. DJs: Not allowed to play music too loud.

Decently priced organizing, but their communication skills are poor. No one in a leadership position at the organization has ever successfully managed a large group. They split the 9U team in early December (post most organization's tryouts). Multiple parents asked if this was the plan weeks in advance, but the coach (owner's son) avoided a straight answer. As a parent I would have loved to use this event as a learning opportunity for my 9 yr old for why he didn't make the 10U AA team, but made the 9U AA. Daddy ball and taking fast is strong here. Don't let the artificial grass and netting woo you. Parents were lied to by multiple coaches multiple times. Also, the amount of cursing around the kids is excessive. Good luck.
