The Houston Dynamo/Dash youth program runs day camps for boys and girls ages 6-16 at facilities across Greater Houston during school and holiday breaks. Four-day seasonal, development and fantasy camps group players by age and experience under the pro club's coaching staff, with some sessions including a match ticket and a player meet-and-greet. A residential elite camp is also offered for older, advanced players.

★★★MA C (MaC)Good if your kid has the basics of soccer down, if not, you'll probably end up making him/her want to quit. By basics I mean how to properly hit, stop, pass and run with the ball (Properly!!!). They will go straight into doing dribbling drills and things like that without even mentioning the basics, which will make kids who do not have the basics, struggle trying to keep up. There seems to be one or two people who are actually coaches or know how to teach, most of the other people are older kids from the reserves (or something like that), they do seem to know how to play soccer but don't really nail the teaching part, in my opinion. I like that the "games" are more of "practice games", they would move players around if the teams are too uneven, or pause the game and give indications of how to move or what to do. I do not like that they will send the email with the Sunday's game information with only 12hrs in advance, sometimes less, this gives you little time (if any) to plan your day.
