Hoop City

This basketball gym is an absolute disaster. The floor is uneven and full of cracks, making it unsafe to play. The rims are bent and shaky, and the nets are either torn or missing completely. The lighting is so dim that you can barely see the ball. The walls are covered in peeling paint and grime, giving the place a neglected feel. The bathrooms are filthy, with broken sinks and no soap or paper towels. There’s no proper ventilation, so the entire gym smells like mildew. The benches are splintered and uncomfortable to sit on. The staff seems uninterested in maintaining or improving anything. Overall, this is one of the worst basketball gyms I’ve ever been to, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Rented a few times on CatchCorner. Court is poorly maintained. Very slippery. Floors are weird vinyl tiles that are just slippery and pick up a lot of dust. Will most likely not be renting again. Also, no water fountains. Overall, not a great experience for renters.

The basketball section is all I can write about and it is a disgrace. Run-down, filthy, dingy and down right gross. No air conditioning. Barely any seating for fans. Noone at the front desk. Can't find help if needed. Bathrooms are gross. Don't know who owns it to reach out but doubt that will do anything.Why leagues pay this place to play here is beyond me. Dislike going but I go for my kids to cheer them on. Owners should be ashamed of themselves but apparently not.

Where to begin....charging per person to watch kids basketball? Cash only?? (One family on our team had to pay $10/person x 4 people x 2days!!!! We played this past season and we would get an email the Wednesday or Thursday before the weekend we played informing us or the location and time....sometimes, we'd had to drive 30 Kms away for the game later that day.... Advertising all over social media "sign up!", "come join our league!". Yes! Take money, promise good things, and then just bail. No one has the answers. No one has time. Maybe someone's young child is running things?

We had a tournament there. They charged $5.00 to get in. The facility was run down. There's only one unisex bathroom that wasn't very clean and was out of toilet paper. The benches had your feet on the court. The court was worn and poorly marked and of the three scoreboards only one worked (some of the time).
