Home Plate Collective is a Rapid City nonprofit that makes baseball accessible to youth of all backgrounds, providing year-round player development along with counseling and tutoring, and partnering with Harney Little League for field space. Founded by Donte Bledsoe, it focuses on supporting kids as student-athletes rather than running a single summer session. Equipment and access are provided so cost is not a barrier.

Powered by GoogleWe couldn't be happier with this baseball coaching program. What truly sets it apart is that it goes far beyond just doing a great job of teaching the fundamentals of the game. Donte and Hayden put a strong emphasis on building confidence, resilience and mental toughness which has made a difference in our child which in was apparent after just 1 session! The instruction is thoughtful and age-appropriate, helping kids feel supported while challenging them to grow in hitting, fielding and overall game awareness as well as handling mistakes. Very patient! It's clear the coaches really care about each player's development as an athlete and as a person. Practices are structured, positive and fun to help kids feel proud of their progress. If you're looking for a program that develops skills and mindset, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
An excellent winter training program and in-season tune up for youth baseball players around the Rapid City area. The coaching emphasizes skill development, effort, fitness, and most importantly, mental toughness. My son has become significantly more confident, focused, and prepared for the season. Its a great environment for player development.
