Hoffman School of Dance on Fillmore Avenue in East Aurora, now in its 95th year, runs themed summer dance camps - a K-Pop camp mixing dancing, singing, crafts and games is among the featured offerings - alongside year-round classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, acrobatics and theatre dance, including Kiddie Combination classes for ages 3-5. Camp session lengths and daily hours are posted seasonally.

★Tony HurleyThough their website proclaims a “warm, family-friendly environment,” their actions affirm anything but. From several rows back at a show on 05/11/24 my family & I observed an aggressive male employee accost an elderly man (who may have even been deaf, his mannerisms indicated so) who had his phone out. Rules are rules, but I would argue my two young children were more traumatized by a grown man snatching a senior citizen’s phone after berating him, then throwing it on the ground. Whoever runs this organization should be ashamed of themselves, and the employee “Michael,” shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near children. Save your money, let your children participate somewhere safe.

She has been on the competitive dance team for much of that time, and the studio owner is always professional and courteous and brings in top notch dance instructors. She is always working to give her students the very best. My daughter definitely feels that she is part of a “dance family” there and has learned and experienced more than we could have imagined.
