The Community Players of Hobbs runs the Hobbs Community Playhouse in Hobbs, New Mexico and offers an annual summer Youth Performing Arts Workshop for students ages 9-18. Participants receive instruction across theatre production—acting, voice, singing, dancing, set design, and makeup—culminating in a staged production.

Amazing experience! Great family evening
I took my 3 yr old granddaughter, and she was so excited and watched the whole play. That is unusual for a 3-year-old. Later, when we got back to the motel, she was so excited that she had to dance with her Papa and show him how they danced and moved. We all loved it so much.
I’ve seen a few shows since I moved here, & I have loved them, but I wish you all did more musicals. I’m used to community theaters doing at least 3 musicals per year. I heard you had a children’s theater camp, so I assumed you were doing Matilda as your kid’s show since it’s such a kid heavy show, but I heard that’s the only musical of the season that adults can do because your kid’s show is Wonka. I would love to come and join, but I haven’t seen a musical that looks interesting or that has plenty of adult roles. I hope next season has more musicals for adults
Went there for the haunted house with my kids. It was absolutely amazing!! I wish I could give more stars. I really hope they bring it back next year. Will definitely go back.
