★Erica RudolphThe instruction is decent, but the place is dirty and outdated. The lobby is dark and not very inviting. The belt tests take forever and you should plan on sitting around in the crowded lobby with few chairs for at least 30 additional minutes. We waited over 45 minutes for our last belt test. The staff can be a bit rude and unorganized. The bathrooms are vile. Update: after coming into the room for the test, we waited an additonal 15 minutes. The tester acted annoyed that a child asked for a drink during the test (mind you the test was an hour later than planned). Response to the reply: actually, belt tests are typically not run in a timely fashion in our experience and there is frequently a delay with no notification. How about sending an email or posting on social media to let families know what is going on and being respectful of their time?

The focus here is personal growth where students can work at their own pace to master new skills. My daughter started here and I was so impressed I decided to join and learn at the academy myself. I would never dream that. It is all credit to the Grandmaster, master Dan and all staff. Our little girl is 7 years old, and she is a public speaker delivering her presentation of Potassium few weeks ago. She is able to stay still and concentrate on her academics.
