Hilo Education Arts Repertory Theatre (HEART) is a nonprofit youth theater on Hawaii Island that runs the tuition-free 'I HEART SUMMER' performing-arts day camp. The four-week camp trains young performers and technical-crew members ages 8-18 and culminates in a camper-only production staged at the East Hawaii Cultural Center. It charges only a small materials fee, with need-based waivers so no camper is turned away for lack of funds.
