Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro runs a youth performing-arts summer camp for ages 6–16, divided into two age groups, where campers come daily to sing, dance, act, and learn new skills in workshops. In partnership with Missoula Children's Theatre, campers spend a full week working with visiting instructors toward an original staged production.

Opened in 2017, a friend brought me there to have lunch - crepes of interesting varieties, desserts that were so tempting, you wanted at least two! I’m from New York, but returned again that season, just for lunch. This year, a disappointment. The chef has changed. Lunch menu was drab and uninspired. The desert choices were paltry. Enjoy the art - and perhaps the programs. Don’t make a special trip for the food.
