Finding High Cascade Snowboard Camp changed our son and us parents' summers/winters forever in the best way! Our tween wasn't taking to skiing/snowboarding, but we didn't want him giving up. High Cascade changed that last summer helping him from beginner to confident boarder who kept up with friends this past winter loving all the sports has to offer. This summer he's at two sessions, and loving how Coach Elijah is taking him to a new level of sport enjoyment and technical understanding with terrain park tricks and basic jumps--with care, fun and safety. Last winter we hit the slopes as a family and loved how confident our son was, how we finally enjoyed a mountain together and look forward to more trips together. All school year he asked for more summer sessions at High Cascade. Their equipment and camp setting are top-notch, plus the coaches know how to encourage kids to be better but in camp atmosphere where they also like hanging out with their coaching group and cabin mates. Thank you High Cascade for making our winter family time more fun and helping our son get better then fall in love with the sport for his lifetime!

We just finished our second year at high cascade day camp, an amazing time as always!! Coach Henry Senkovski has been amazing with my kid, keeping the vibes high, personally taking him into the pipe since he had some experience. Hope to see you next year Henry!!

Adult camp was amazing. The cabins were clean and outfitted well and the whole team was very fun and helpful. The food from Ari’s KUnit was especially good. Just an overall great experience that I’m thankful to have taken. Tips. Bring extra gloves, wear black gear, and you need a day bag to take lunch and drink on the mountain.

Adult camper here - if you missed out on sleep away camp in the 90’s & early 00’s, this is your chance to live the dream. The accommodations are great, the food is DELICIOUS (k-unit throws it down morning and night!!!), but the people are really what makes this experience worth it. From the fellow campers who are just as excited for your first board slides as they are for someone landing their 100th 360, to the coaches who are just as friendly and helpful on the slopes as they are off of it, this was the week of a lifetime. Coach Alec totally renewed my love and excitement for snowboarding, and I can’t wait to push myself next season with everything I learned in just 5 days here. Head coach Gabe is a kind, wonderful leader who got us through the first week hiccups with a smile on his face and a gentle optimism that you can’t help but go along with. I hope this camp lasts for many more years to come.

HCSC was such an incredible experience, in just about every facet, it is hard to know where to begin. I wanted to go to the camp since it began as a high schooler in VT, but $ and life didn't allow it. I never thought I would get to go almost 25 years later with my own kid. From the moment we checked in, until the time we were dropped off at the airport, it was a 1st class experience for both me as a 40 yr old and my 10 year old son. The supervision for the kids was great and I wouldn't hesitate to send my kid across country alone to go to this camp. I know he would be taken care of. As an adult, it was incredible, to be back at "camp"...where the only thing to do was to have a good time with other people who loved snowboarding as much as I do. Yes, snowboarding in summer is one of the highlights in life, but it is the off mountain stuff that makes it special...the kickball, the dinners, the whitewater rafting, the tramp sessions...it all adds up to a great time. The counsellors and the coaches are top notch. My coach Lee is one of the steeziest and coolest guys you can meet. I have made friends that I have stayed in touch with from all over the world and it is through our common experience at HCSC that we can thank. If you are an adult and contemplating if this is something to do, I can't more emphatically say "DO IT". You won't regret it.
