Heritage Hill Equestrian Center is a horseback-riding facility in Princeton, operating since 1981, that runs weekly horse summer camps for kids ages 8-18 on 50 acres of rolling hills. Campers get hands-on riding lessons in Western and English styles plus bareback riding and barn work like feeding and cleaning, with a midweek cookout and a Friday horse show to demonstrate their skills. Year-round riding lessons and trail rides are also offered.

My horse was Stormy and he was super sweet and calm. All of the horses were. I just got on and Stormy knew exactly what to do and took me on the trail I barely had to lead him at all. It was very easy and peaceful. The guide explained everything very well and we had nice friendly conversation and took pictures for us. He even let us trot a few times for a bit of fun and let us give the horses some carrots as a treat for being so good at the end. This is a family owned small business and I loved being able to support them! All of the horses were clean and healthy as well! Will definitely be back!

The owner and majority of the staff are great, horses trained well. You don't learn much beyond basic training from my experience but it was fun.
