Healing Horses Kauai is a Kapaa nonprofit offering children's horsemanship and riding day camps alongside equine-assisted therapy. Camp days include horseback riding, basic horsemanship, games and arts and crafts, and run from 8:45am to 2pm for ages 4 to 14.

They take in autistic people, people with down syndrome, and other disabilities. The staff here are all nice. Only one staff here as far as I know caused lots of problems which I’m not going to explain. Overall this is an amazing place to ride! Would I recommend? Of course!

The horses were so lovely, well-cared for and it just filled our horse-girl hearts to be able to pet some horses while on vacation. Be sure to give them a donation, it's so worth it. My son has the most fun and learns a lot while riding here. He has a taken 3 lessons while on vacation at Healing Horses and I got to ride and do an English lesson with him the last time as well.
