Powered by GoogleThe staff are wonderful! They made themselves a part of our visit in the best ways, gently suggesting exhibits we might enjoy, answering questions, and patiently leading our 6 year-old around. They all seem to enjoy their work, and it made our visit a pleasure.
The best experience for children and adults in town! The staff are always friendly and explain to us all the science behind their different stations and their animals. Lee eagerly passed along the snakes to my son and showed us all the different ways the snake engages with his environment. My son loves the building blue blocks, the animals and microscopes upstairs. It’s a family must visit in Bemidji.
We randomly came across this place on a day trip to Bemidji and we’re so glad that we did. There were many interactive setups as well as the highlight for us which was the reptile/ insect area. It was hands on while being very informative. We had fun and the staff was great!
Fun experience for all ages! Feeding the animals is really cool. Everything was sanitized. Animal holdings were available to all! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Would go here again.
My daughter and I visited Headwaters recently. They have many interactive science experiments. My daughter enjoyed making the giant bubbles & learning about all of the animals & reptiles. The staff was wonderful & the girl working in the reptile area was super knowledgeable & professional. She took out any reptile that we wanted to touch/hold & told us interesting facts about each one. We had a great experience & will definitely return.
