Hawk Circle Wilderness Education runs week-long overnight wilderness camps for children and teens ages 10-18 on over 200 acres of woods, fresh water springs and old pasture in Cherry Valley. Campers work in groups of about 15 on wilderness skills, tracking, survival, leadership, problem solving and adventure. The organization started as a wilderness summer camp over 30 years ago and now also runs retreats and trainings for adults.

The accommodations were rustic, clean, and comfortable. The program were varied and suited for the youngest (5) to the oldest (grandma) with the kids in the middle (11) entertained and educated. The staff were super friendly and caring and helpful...yet gave plenty space to just " be" in nature. Our kids soaked up the knowledge shared. The food was superb and themed well. We never went hungry with fresh baked goods always available and warm soups and meats for the main meals. Thank you all...we will be back!
