The Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Voyaging Society is a Kihei nonprofit whose Hoʻoulu Ka ʻIke youth program teaches ages 9–13 Hawaiian culture through canoe paddling, navigation, hula, chants, crafts, planting, and sustainability. It runs week-long day programs during school breaks, including four weeks each summer, with ocean activities such as paddling, SUP, snorkeling, and swimming.
