The City of Harrison's Summer Fun Camp is a six-week municipal day program for children entering kindergarten through 5th grade. It runs mornings from 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday through Thursday in June and July at the Harrison Community Center, offering outdoor, civic and educational activities to build social skills and confidence. It is half-day only, with in-person pre-registration and a low $50 fee that includes a t-shirt.

The community center has 2 pickleball courts, 2 tennis courts, a skate park, a dog park, and a newly built water playground. I would have given it a 5 but as a resident of Harrison, i think we needed more than a few water sprinkles. Ive been to Mason, West Chester, and Lawrenburg, their community center offered more for the resident.

Was at July 4th fireworks. In spite of national coronavirus restrictions, lots of citizens present in a festive but contained manner. Fireworks, politeness, cleanliness and super great police directing traffic outflow were definitely displayed. Will come back next year, for sure!
