H-E-B Tennis Center is a public tennis facility at 1520 Shely Street in Corpus Christi with 25 lighted Laykold courts (22 outdoor, three covered), a pro shop and a junior tennis academy, open Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-10 p.m. and weekends 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Its junior summer programming runs June 1 through August 6 for ages 4-17, split into morning sessions for ages 7-17 (Monday through Thursday) and evening sessions for ages 4-12 (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday), bookable at daily or weekly rates. Sessions cover warm-up drills, game play, endurance, agility and coordination, competitive strategy and mental toughness, and are open to all levels from early learners to advanced players.
