Gull Lake Sailing School, part of the Gull Lake Yacht Club founded in 1947, teaches youth sailing on Gull Lake near Brainerd to students ages 4 and up. Courses range from boat safety and intro-to-sailing to racing, using Optimists, 420s, scows, a Laser, and a keelboat. The nonprofit is home to the Brainerd High School sailing team and offers need-based scholarships.
