Powered by GoogleMy family and I were lucky enough to have spent the weekend on Elizabeth’s farm and could not have had a better experience. The property was beautiful and Elizabeth was responsive to any questions we had. We hiked, fished the river, fished the two ponds, caught frogs, turtles and snakes, and even spent some time with her horses. We will be back for sure and would highly recommend grove point stables to camp, ride or relax. It combines a small corner in gods country with A+ hospitality. Thanks again Elizabeth!!!!
I came here for a silent retreat. What I wanted was no phones, not computer and no people. I got everything I needed and more. I arrived and followed the instructions to go directly to the spot. The site is extremely nice - extraordinary in fact. There was a Bald Eagle sitting in a dead tree to welcome me and the wildlife and sounds of the forest soon blotted out all the sounds I needed not to hear. This was a wonderful weekend. The directions are good. Be careful not to navigate based on the GPS pin. You will need a canoe the last 100 yards if you do. Plenty of space to park and set up camp. Firewood was available in the treeline not far away. The “facilities” are a short car ride away. Manageable. H&C water, sink, shower and toilet. Clean and modern. The site is a gem.
Great experience! Nothing can beat horseback riding & camping with your loved ones all in one place!! Liz is super friendly and knowledgeable ❤️ Horses are very calm, the atmosphere was so peaceful.. everything was just amazing. We will 100% will be coming back!
Beautiful horse farm nestled on 180+ acres of rolling hills and trails around the waterway. Liz is such a great gal, very fun, easy going and takes lots of pictures on her tours. She has a few Gypsy Vanners available to ride on her property and on the wildlife refuge across the street that leads to the beach. They also have camping available and do adult camps and other events through the year. Well worth the trip.
We had a fantastic time camping and riding at Grove Point Stables. Hospitality was amazing and we were treated like family. Such a clean and organized facility with a fun cross country course and trails. We loved riding to the beach everyday and swimming with our horses. Thank you so much Elizabeth for the fabulous experience.
