Powered by GoogleI went on a retreat here and it was a really nice place. We were inside the main building most of the time and it was really nice inside with nice knotty pine walls and rafters. The bunk house's were nice also
great camp, great people, love the campers, but i'm really disappointed as to how my experience turned out to be. there was crazy drama, horrible management, and too high of expectations for 14 year olds at this camp. the campers complained about how it used to be funner and it really hurt to see this. it was also a very negative environment which isnt exactly ideal for a bible camp. i would come back if there is significant improvement in the cleaning lists, because they are extensive. i know there are standards to meet and guidelines that need to be followed, but i think that if the higher ups want the camp to be sparkling clean then to hire actual professionals. 14 year olds get very overstimulated and stressed from getting work just pushed in their face, (me) i really hope that i can come back and there is some improvement. so many good things happened but also alot of bad things happened. i also kind of wish K & H got more opportunities to do stuff with the campers. it really kinda annoyed me that we always had to be working and or cleaning... i know its our job to do so but i really really wanted to have fun there and i only got the chance to swim twice in 2 ish months :(
I used to go here as a kid, then worked as a counselor during my highschool years. Now my kids come here, too! Me & my oldest daughter were bummed to see they took away the highschool camper week this year.
Our grandson has spent the past 2 years attending camp and each of his experiences has been amazing! So pleased with their efforts and team building. The lessons are life enriched and apply to today's climate. Thanks to the staff again.
It's a great Bible camp! I went here as a kid. My kids now love going and learning about God and his word. They have lots of activities, water activities, archery, climbing, games, etc. It's a great value as well!
