Green Mountain Conservation Camp at Buck Lake is a week-long overnight program run by the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department in Woodbury, Vermont for youth ages 12-16. Campers learn hands-on about wildlife conservation, ecology, forestry, and orienteering, and practice fishing, swimming, canoeing, and safe firearm and archery techniques. A basic week serves ages 12-14 and an advanced week is open to those who have completed it; financial assistance is available.

Students must pass an online gun safety course before attending the camp. The program is divided into beginner and advanced sessions. A camper is allowed to do only one session per summer. The camp itself is located in the Buck Lake Wildlife Management Area and in addition to the regular activities that these areas are meant for, provides opportunity for youths from VT to learn about conservation and care of our natural resources.
