One-week sailing day camps run by a member sailing association at Swift Creek Reservoir, a protected freshwater site near Richmond. Campers ages 8-15 sail Optimist dinghies solo (8-11) or Topaz Uno boats in pairs (12-15), with Level III advanced campers moving to the 19-foot Flying Scot; placement is confirmed by staff on day one. Sessions run Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM at $425 per week, and close with a Friday afternoon family showcase. All campers must pass a supervised swim check in a life jacket on the first day, bring their own USCG-approved Type III PFD, and pack a lunch.

While not technically their responsibility to keep the area across the street clean, it is the moral thing to do. God wants us to be good stewards of the Earth.

This is his second year doing the camp, and I'm sure we'll be back again next year and the years to come. The staff does a great job keeping the kids busy and interested even on the days with little wind with sailing-related crafts, pirate day, swimming, and games. I also feel like the camp does a great job with instruction and safety. 5 stars+++!
