Powered by GoogleThis place is ridiculous. I cancel my membership because I'm not gonna come there anymore and they take another payment from me. So if you plan on going expect to pay when you are not using it anymore. Not only that but half the time I go in there the hot tub or the sauna is not working. Main reason i go. There's only specific times that I can go in there, and there's usually a class so I can't even use the pool or hot tub. Just money hungry.
Gyms usually have terrible music that nobody listens to. Like the songs genuinely hurts my ears(YMCA). But Granite is different. Whoever is in control of the music needs to be promoted because man do they play some bangers. Y'all could use some more machines I guess, but the great music choice basically makes up for it. I'm hearing Frank Ocean, the Backseat lovers, 90s rock and everything I ever wanted. Thank you.
I have been coming to this club for over 2 years consistently 3-4x a week, so this is not a review from someone who hardly ever comes in. The staff is exceptional. Since the overhaul of the gym equipment last year though, loose ends have begun to unwind and show. The men's locker room needs attention. Locker doors are loose on the hinges, all of the shower heads are failing (as well as the shower knobs all being loose and misaligned), and the sauna is continuing to be bandaged rather than overhauled. It would be wise, with as many machines as there is, to keep limited stock of known high wear faulty items - so upon failure, the part can be readily fixed. It has come to a point where you expect to see a sign on a treadmill, bike, or stair stepper, stating repairs need to be made - or the one water fountain on the main floor needs maintenance. The staff and people are what make this club great, but for the amount spent monthly for the amenities advertised - the points labeled out need to be analyzed and addressed.
I think this gym could easily be the best gym in town if they didn’t let people work out in Jeans. There are currently 3 members in working out in Jeans excluding the very friendly maintenance guy. This is an everyday thing.
I have given my feedback to them privately. Overall, I was happy to find a lap pool as being able to exercise in water helps my hips and back tremendously. My favorite part of the gym is the stretching room. Great price on a monthly membership and I love that you can borrow locks for your day use locker at no extra charge. Beautiful facility
