Grand Strand Surf School runs weekly surf camps at Surfside Beach, meeting Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to noon - a half-day session. Each day opens with a 30-minute ocean safety briefing followed by land-based training and multiple in-water surf sessions; boards and equipment are included, along with snacks and photos. The school is run by two local surfers, one a former sponsored professional, and also offers private lessons and board rentals delivered in Surfside Beach.

Both of my girls got up on waves and really enjoyed themselves. My wife also participated in the mom’s surfing day and she LOVED it. All the instructors were once again extremely helpful and energetic. They surfed for an hour and a half and i know that my wife had a blast. Highly recommend for any level, my family never surfed and had a great time.
