GAC has been a huge part of my life, and now my son’s. I spent seven summers there as a camper and one as a counselor, and it truly shaped who I am today. My son is five summers in and thriving. The activities push kids to grow and try new things, and the friendships they build last a lifetime. GAC isn’t just a camp, it’s a second home!
I love camp!!! This year was my fourth year and it was by far the best!! I made so many new friends and a ton of memories! At camp everyone creates such special bonds with their cabin and you become best friends with people you would have never imagined...defiantly going back for year five next year! 💗
Our kids have been going there for 11 years now and one became a Lead Counselor. It is an amazing place and it seems to be just as fun working there, as being a camper. I can't recommend it highly enough, as in the short time they are there, the kids become markedly more confident and independent...it is remarkable. When you pick them up, you see it. The camp sells out every year, so sign up very early if you are new and want your kids to have the ultimate summer experience...shameless promo, but true. Most go for 2 weeks and some a month, but all the kids really have a great time. I am waiting for the adult GAC. Keep up the truly great work....Go GAC !!
I started going there in 1977, I was a counselor there in 1993, met my wife there my kids have gone there, it is the best camp in the world. When I think of a happy great adventurous place that is Gold Arrow
