It’s truly a magical place! The food is amazing and the leaders truly are interested in you! When you come into this place you get a fuzzy, happy feeling in you! This place is what you call home sweet home! They have such a wide variety of activities and HIGHLY recommend for anyone wantng a Jesus filled escape from life!
This is a good place to plan a church retreat or go as a family. I would love to see the children's camp improve with better training for the staff, especially the youth staff. There is great potential here! Children teasing other children should never be brushed off. Every opportunity to present the Gospel clearly at a child's level should be made. Bible stories are nice, but there is a deeper message that is not being shared both in the Bible lessons and in the responses to unkind campers. I wish every opportunity were made to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the children attending the summer camps. I also wish that teens who try to share the Gospel were not shooed away from the interested child. I keep praying for a change, but have pulled away from helping with the camps or encouraging teens to help there anymore. I still recommend God's Mountain as a family or church retreat to increase the Gospel impact and decrease unsavory memories for the child.
What a great place to bring a group! All the amenities, and plenty of space to spread out. Quiet time! Reconnect! Reset! Love Jesus, live as family, look to the fields.
This camp is such a good camp. It's very focused on God and salvation, but it's not boring it's very fun there's a pool, are throwing, basketball, etc. The councilors are always willing to answer a question and the pastor there , Johnny, is one of the best person I've met. He's very interactive with the audience and keeps it alive in interesting. The food there is all natural and amazing. I've never grown more in my life with God than when I was there. I've rededicated my life for Him, and I'm growing every day. I highly recommend this camp, it's worth it.
