Gitche Gumee Bible Camp runs two overnight summer sessions: Youth Camp for ages 8-12 and Teen Camp for ages 13-17, pairing Bible teaching with hiking, swimming, mountain biking, sports, arts and crafts and campfire gatherings. The 2026 sessions run June 18-21 ($165 per camper) and June 28-July 2 ($260 per camper). The camp sits along Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and also hosts a family camp and customizable, church-led youth retreats, with dining hall, meeting space and cabins for up to 200 people. Scholarships are available from the camp office for families whose budgets would otherwise prevent a child from attending.

This is a great place to take the whole family. I keep coming back every year.

GGBC is a place we have been going to since I was young. There is time for rest and relaxation, many activities are planned, the food is great, and the word of God is preached daily. Lake superior is beautiful especially the evening sunsets. If you're looking for a place to take the family for a week during the summer Gitche Gumee Bible Camp is a great option.

Family camp at Gitche is the highlight of our year and has been for the past 6 years. Great spiritual retreat and a place to find community outside our routine at home

Love my mug all year long. It reminds me of the peace and love we felt at Gitchee.

It's a great place to relax and enjoy what God has created. Fresh air lots of tree's, one of the great lakes of Michigan, and cool breezes. Also some of best sun set's ever. You just need to see for yourself.
