I went to watch a friend’s daughter play a volleyball game tonight and saw something pretty disheartening. Both teams were warming up before the game with the opposing team standing in a circle bumping it back and forth. An employee had sat her route 44 sonic drink on the score table on the court, and at one point someone in the circle hit the ball and it knocked the drink off and spilled on the floor. A little girl ran over to retrieve the ball, as she did she apologized to the employee (because let’s face it, yeah that stinks..) but this little girl was not even the one who hit the ball! She started to go back to her team as they were about to huddle up and the employee said “uh uh” and threw a towel at her to clean it up while she sat there. I’m sitting there watching this interaction and I see the little girl look at whom I can only guess is her mom and the little girl was in tears. Her mom went over to assist in the clean up when the employee turned on what I can only describe as the fakest smile, told the little girl to go to her team, and she would get it. As I kept watching, she verbalized her annoyance about her drink to someone else and I see the little girls mom, whom I guess must’ve seen it as well, get up and go offer to buy her another drink from the concession to which she again turned on the fakest smile and said no it was ok..it took everything I had to not interject myself into the situation because I felt so sorry for that little girl. I saw the whole thing, and she owed the little girl an apology. Where is the foresight of the employee to maybe not leave a drink the size of two Stanley’s sitting in the middle of a court with balls flying everywhere during warm ups?? As far as the employee goes, WAY less than impressive and not someone I’d want to watch my children. She is very obviously on some kind of power trip, and if she acted like that in a gym full of people I would really question how she talks to kids when parents AREN’T around. DO BETTER!

Staff is very rude, lots of favoritism to kids, and lots of drama. not all staff are like this though.

I had to do a delivery there and what is pretty loud outside kids it sound like everybody was having fun or at least something to occupy their time and the woman I delivered to was very very nice

Girls Inc is absolutely incredible!!! This place was a life saver when I didn't have anyone to pick my daughter up from school or watch her until I got off work.. The women there are so kind and helpful. There are so many fun things they do with kids, especially during the summer! My daughter has gone there for many years but now she just plays volleyball with them. I think their sports opportunities are great! I felt like it allowed my daughter to explore and find the sport that was right for her without the commitment like the private places and schools. I'm sad she won't be able to play with them next year because she will be out of the age range but I'll always be grateful to them!

I love the staff, and the quality of care my daughter receives. They have fun activities that keep the kids active and trying new sports. My daughter has matured beautifully at Girl's Inc. Would recommend to everyone.
