Girl Scout Camp Tanglefoot is a 50-acre residential summer camp for girls on the shore of Clear Lake, run by Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, accepting campers ages 6-18. Campers stay in small cabins and platform tents and spend most of their time outdoors, with waterfront boating and swimming, archery, a ropes course, and meadow and forest activities.

★Charlotte PannhoffMy daughter went to camp here twice first time she had a ok time.Second time was a nightmare she was bullied so bad by a girl in the tent with her.She would make sure she sat right next to my daughter and she pitched her so hard she had bruises up and down her leg .When we came to pick her up she was so upset. She vowed to never come back to this horrible place.Plus the staff didn't care we went to the director of the h e camp abd she said she would get back to us but she never did .I thought Hirl Scouts was supposed to be bully free that everyone was supposed to care about each .

★★★★Adrian KiferThe camp- even though small - was fun and I enjoyed the experience that I got from it. However, I've gone there maybe 4-5 years and now that I'm a senior, I find myself not being able to go to many more camps there. This camp focuses more on the younger ages, so there aren't many new camps there that I haven't been to or that aren't similar to another one. (i.e. swimming activities and lake activities)
★AHad to pay $35 to apply for financial aid which is non refundable-That is a lot of money just to be able to find out whether or not they offer enough financial aid to be able to afford to go. Also- response time for following emails was extremely slow and it was very difficult getting a hold of the camp itself.
