Gethsemani Community Center on Beacon Street is one of five City of North Charleston sites hosting the city's summer camp for children ages 5-12. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a flat seasonal registration fee (about $350) and required pre-registration; spaces are non-refundable, first-come first-served, and open to North Charleston residents only. The center grounds include a picnic shelter, tennis court, playground and the adjacent Wando Woods Dog Park.
