I am so jealous that I didn't have GBOD when I was growing up. It's just down the street from my home, and what they're building there is truly special. Your child is welcomed, shown love from day 1, and encouraged. This atmosphere is so motivating. I see so much focus and growth in these players. I've coached against their teams, too, and the thing that stood out is they had the best enthusiasm of any team we faced the entire summer. The coaches build players to share and prop each other up. They just need double the gym space... that will come. GBOD is the top hoops culture in the city, easily.

My son has been coming to GBOD for the past two years. Vent, Jam and the other coaches are top notch! They are fantastic at helping with mid range shots and getting to the rim. But more than that, my son has made some great life long friends out of his teammates. I call it his “bro club”. They support each other and encourage each other to get better! We can’t speak highly enough about GBOD and Coach Vent! Our son (3rd grade) joined last fall and it’s been phenomenal watching his improvement in such a short time! We love that the kids are always encouraged to focus on the progress rather than the perfection.
