My son has been part of the Georgia Stars program now for two years and has grown not only as a baseball player but also as a young man. He has experienced tough love and hard coaching which has only made him a better ball player. The program not only has great coaching but promotes strong work ethic, teaches accountability, pride, teamwork, and determination. The indoor facilities that the program provides is excellent as well. The parents of the players are very nice, warm, and supportive of the young men through out the season. My son had never played travel baseball until he arrived at Georgia Stars and we were not sure what to expect or if he would make the team. We liked the team so much that we recommended a player for the team. I would highly recommend that if anyone was looking for a team to consider Georgia Stars.

Coach Waters and the Georgia Star coaches have been good for my son. They emphasize the development of character as well as baseball skills. They have fixed flaws in my son's swing that were missed by other coaches and have provided him with the tools and instruction to become a consistent hitter and fielder. They work the kids hard and do not coddle them at all, but we have found them to be fair and to care about the kids. They want them to perform well in school and to treat each other with respect. We have been very pleased with the instruction and have seen consistent improvement over time.

My son started playing with the Georgia Stars about a year ago and I wish he had started in the program much earlier. Coach Waters has really helped him with the physical and, importantly, the mental aspects of the game, and my son is a much better player than he was a year ago.
