Had a lovely four day retreat with a group of 20 staying in Gibbes House in April. On one day with good weather, we enjoyed walking the lakefront and trails. While modest, the accommodation was satisfactory. Dining was not yet open, so we made use of the stove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer (two) in the kitchenette, which all functioned.

I was so impressed when I stayed here for BOW camp. The grounds are really cute. The location is beautiful . The walking trails along the beach are so picturesque. The old buildings are really neat. Grounds are well kept. I was impressed with the basic cabins. I loved the fire pits and the garden by the food center.

Beautiful space for a corporate or family reunion. Food is good as well. But lighten up on the use of salt. The location is fantastic. Private beach in a somewhat protected cove on the lake. Plenty of fire pits for evening gatherings and the stars at night are incredible.

We went to Geneva Point as a part of their “Family Camp” program to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone from 4 to 74 years old had a fantastic time. Even though we were a small group, Christy treated us like VIPs and made sure we had everything we needed. The very large property is on a peninsula on Lake Winnipesauki so it’s absolutely gorgeous, remote and calm. We happened to be there during acoustic week so we got to listen to some master musicians and join their barn dance. I’d highly recommend it if you: -Have a family or group with different interests as there’s plenty of room to both come together but also do your own thing -Love the outdoors and seek quiet on an otherwise busy lake -Are nostalgic about camp or get jealous when you drop your kids off Might not be your spot if: -You prefer fancy accommodations, this place has a very rich history and while it is very comfortable it’s not new -You are looking for a happening ‘scene’ They have a dining hall, boats, disc golf, lifeguards, trails and many more games so there’s really no need to leave the property. We’ll certainly be back!!
