I’ve been a member since this location was opened by vasa, and the changes are astronomical. The lock on the door to the personal restroom/shower has been broken for well over a year. Not to mention whenever it snows the parking lot looks like they couldn’t be bothered to clear even a fraction of the snow, to the point of vehicles getting stuck and people having to shuffle through the slush to make sure they can get inside without falling due to ice. I’ve been to other genesis locations in Wichita and find it incredibly difficult to believe how much this location is neglected in comparison to other locations. I understand that some members are still paying vasa prices so this may not be most profitable location, but the sign above the entrance still says “genesis health club”

Good variety of equipment and amenities, BUT the fact that they don't have wipes anymore (to clean equipment after use) and now have spray bottles with shitty chemical and cheap paper towels instantly makes it 3stars. How cheap can you be Genesis. Cheap move to save money, penny pinching on wipes? 🙄

Fantastic gym. The Kids Zone is a lifesaver—you can leave your child for up to two hours while you work out. The woman who runs it is wonderful, patient, and truly great with kids. The facility is clean, the equipment is well maintained, and check-in is quick. I highly recommend this place.

This gym is already ridiculous for a variety of reasons but now there’s this new sign. Which makes no sense. The members here, do not care if a guest comes every day. How do we as members know the difference between someone with a membership or a guest pass, unless we ask, which we wouldn’t. We mind our own business as members of this gym. Also, if a guest wants to pay $20 a day for a guest pass multiple times in a month, why would you not take their money? The gym can’t even afford proper antibacterial wipes for the gym equipment. They have antibacterial spray that says on the bottle ‘not safe for skin’.

Came as a guest of a member from a different Genesis but I was told I needed to pay $20 or provide phone numbers as sale leads. He said “we want to offer them a free pass to come” lol but won’t even let me in with a member. Classic genesis hustling, all about money and not service… get the balance right. Merry Christmas
