So horrible, like yes its decent but so corrupt in ways. I will admit, they have a facility the community uses, but they should, considering our taxes go towards them and they don't have to pay property taxes. They own every baseball field in Garden and refuse to sell them despite the fact that they don't maintain them. They have gotten better, but the Rec refuses to sell because they like having a monopoly in Garden around base/softball, you have no option but them. One example, when I played softball, there was a huge hole directly behind 1st base. It was more like a crater like shape. We'd reported it to the Rec but they refused to do anything, I got a twisted ankle because I was so focused on making it to the base I forgot about the hole. Heck I got lucky, my brother got a hairline, and spiral fracture in one leg because the bases arent regulated and he made the mistake of sliding into the base, you know a normal move for players. I even went recently and was treated with disrespect because of this old review I had. So I updated it. 👎👎👎👎

Honestly.. terrible place for hoopers. Gyms are always being reserved for things other than basketball. When you call and ask them if their gyms are going to be free this after noon so you don’t risk wasting a trip there; they lie and tell you that they will be free so you can waste a trip there to find out there’s pickle ball practice.. Great place for other things though ! :)

I think the rec is a great place and the staff are so kinda and they find great people in the community to help in all area i is way more affordable than the YMCA and many programs are even free but It has been an amazing experience being part of the theater program each summer and I love how they have everything for each and every person from sports to singing and dancing I think this a great place to help your children or even yourself be who they want to be!!

Informed the parks department by letter of a potential problem with one of the park shelters. I received a phone call apologizing for the incident that happened because of the problem and was told that they appreciated letting them know about it and that after checking the shelter, they would take steps to rectify. Was very pleased that they indeed did not overlook this letter. Thank you for caring.

If you want to go play basketball don't waste your time here. They always have something going on in the gym or its just closed. Worst place in garden by far.
