I’m sure all of you reading this will only laugh and think I’m ridiculous for doing this review. Something came up in conversation and I mentioned to my 77 yr old sister….i am 67..what was the name of the camp I was sent to at about 10 yrs old! Well she remembered the name and all these years I’d thought I was brought to New Hampshire! I believe I was completely traumatized attending this camp for ONLY a few days! At that time the counselors were adamant I go in the lake water! I was already very Leary of the water, at that same time 3 or 4 kids were running out of the water with LEACHES all over them!,,,, DISGUSTING, I called my parents who did live 3 hours away to come NOW and bring me home! YES THEY DIS COME! I pray children are still possibly having this experience!

Part of The Church social life. Since there is no govorning body of the Church other than it's creator and his word, Gander Brook ties most of the local Churches of Christ together as a central gathering and networking location. Children who attended and made friends here generations past now volunteer their time here, providing a space for spiritual growth and camp style fun for the next.

There is a spirit of comraderie here with a strong commitment to God, the teaching of the good news of Jesus's love, and of God's mercy. Each child is valued for their unique and individual contribution, and encouraged with love and great care. This was our first time as campers and we feel like family already. We will be back next year!
