Friendship House of Christian Service is a Billings nonprofit (part of the Billings Leadership Foundation) running an all-day summer enrichment program for South Side children ages 5–12, alongside afterschool care, a preschool, and teen programs. Summer days include tutoring and grade-level preparation, meals and snacks, art projects, vacation Bible school, and educational field trips to sites like the Museum of the Rockies, ZooMontana, and swimming. Fees are on a sliding scale with scholarships for qualifying families, and transportation is provided.

They provide a safe environment with structure and healthy stimulation for your kids, with great incentives to celebrate positive behavior. With consistent consequences for when kids demonstrate not so positive behavior. The program is designed to help your child become a successful adult. Everyone there was so compassionate and flexible with our family and helping us meet our needs last school year, we had a less than ideal schedule, I opened a business three days before Christmas and my husband prepares taxes, so we needed to know our kids were in a healthy environment from the time they were picked up from school until we could pick them up. Friendship House provided that and more for our family. Thank you!
