Fresno Heat Volleyball Club

Disappointing experience overall with Heat Volleyball this season. Parents were told to use the “BAND” app for communication, but Coach Maddie rarely posted anything. The only reliable updates came occasionally from Coach Kahn—and even then, schedules were posted last minute with zero follow-up or responses to parent questions. The biggest issue was the lack of follow-through. The girls were told there might be an end-of-season party (May 30, 2026 was suggested), but there was no planning, no confirmation, and no communication despite multiple parents asking. The girls got their hopes up, and it was simply ignored. Coaching-wise, Maddie had a positive attitude, but her skill level and player development approach felt very junior. There was little structure or real growth, and the team lacked cohesion—it often felt like everyone was on their own. Overall, this program needs major improvement in communication, organization, and player development.

Place was nice, way better than the old one on Chance. Parking up close is limited but has pleny of parking in rear. Bleachers are tight if a large number of extended family are there. There is limited room to set up folding chairs. No place for pop-up outside so, kids kind of find a place to put things and make camp.

We come here when our team has a volleyball tournament. Has five courts plus rooms that you can pay for so the players can relax in while they are waiting to play in between games. Love the seating. Sitting up above the courts. Great views. The only thing is, that it does get a little crowded and super loud when all the courts are full.
