The Fresno Fencing Club runs intensive, week-long summer fencing camps for youth ages 6-18 at its 4,200-square-foot facility with electronically scored strips. Swordplay camps introduce beginners to the Olympic sport, while Competitive camps hone tactics and strategy for those already fencing. Instruction is hands-on with heavy one-on-one attention. The club is located near First and Bullard in Fresno.

Had the opportunity to meet Coach Vladimir on my way to Bakersfield a couple months ago. Very nice and welcoming individual.
Grandson has been going here for couple of years. Great place and wonderful instructors.
I highly recommend Coach Vladimir, as I’ve learnt Foil Fencing under him from Introductory class to Individual class for almost 1.5 years. Now my kids are learning from him. Individual lessons is great for those who are competitive fencers. Great learning environment and highly recommend sport for all ages from 7 years to adult.
Only open evenings. They have separate classes for each of the three weapons, and kids fence at a different time than adults. The coach, Vladimir, is excellent, but you'll have to pay for 1-on-1 sessions with him. If you're trying to be competitive, it's completely worth it. I only fenced with Epee there, so I can only speak to that class. Many of the guys who fence there are long-time fencing veterans, and they are incredibly knowledgeable. They are always helping to correct and improve your fencing style; it's VERY helpful.
