Franklin Pierce Soccer Club, established 1969, now operates as Steel United Washington, a nonprofit youth soccer club based in Puyallup. Its programs are league-season based rather than camp based: 10-week recreational seasons for ages 4-16 with parent-volunteer coaches and Saturday games, tryout-based competitive teams for ages 8-14, high school showcase teams for ages 15-18, and a Steel Futures introductory program for ages 4-8. Teams train and play at Franklin Pierce Stadium, a full turf lighted field at Franklin Pierce High School.

Been trying to get my daughter into a recreational soccer league for a couple months. No one has ever answered the phone, or returned any of my messages. Not sure this place is still in business

I coached Rec for several years with FPSC until 2019. My experience was not good. There was a serious lack of leadership and I felt left out to dry. There was also no communication towards coaches, other than here's your schedule, gear, and photo day. All their efforts went towards promoting their select program. My kids had a great time, because we gave them a great experience. FPSC needs to promote soccer at the lowest levels to get kids to buy in for life. This starts with good leadership and mentoring volunteer coaches.
