Jane Boyd Community House, part of Four Oaks, runs the Achievement Academy, an out-of-school program providing after-school and summer programming for Cedar Rapids youth ages 5–11 (grades K–5). Trauma-trained staff support academic engagement through reading and science activities, homework help, arts and cultural experiences, gardening, sports, and field trips to pools, splash pads, and the nature center.
