S.T.A.R.S. stands for Success Through Academic and Recreational Support, and camp days mix academic assistance with an indoor gymnasium, swimming, arts and crafts, computer lab, game room and movies. Fort Myers Stars Complex is a great facility for a community that truly needs it. This complex offers so much for kids and families — playgrounds, a pool, baseball fields, football fields, courts, and more. It’s a fantastic place for kids to stay active, engaged, and out of trouble, and it’s clear how valuable this space is to the community. The only downsides are minor but worth noting: the women’s restroom stalls by the baseball fields didn’t have working locks, and parking can be tricky on weekends when tournaments are going on. Overall, this is a wonderful community complex with a lot to offer, and I’m glad it’s available for local families.
Stars Complex is an incredible place for youth sports and community. The facility is top-tier, well-maintained, and creates an environment where athletes can truly grow. What stands out most is the staff, their professionalism, organization, and genuine care for kids and families is unmatched. As Hoops on Mission, we value spaces that prioritize development, character, and a positive experience, and Stars Complex consistently delivers on all three. We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner and serve our community in such a first-class environment. Highly recommend!
In regards to the after school program and the summer program the concept of the starz is so great however most of the staff are there for their paycheck and not because they genuinely want to support the youth. Theu act more like they hate kids. Amber is one of those employees there for the check and not the kids, she may have cared at one point but I think she burnt out now. It's unfortunate because the cost is affordable and that's why most parents keep there kids in the program the summer program is affordable as well in comparison to others but my child safety will never be worth it. There was an incident that took place in which Amber assured me she would look into it and she never did then seemed annoyed when I followed up on the incident. That was summer 2025 , my child was where for about 2 years before this incident. There were also alot of great counselors around when my daughter first started who are no longer working there so I'm sure that plays a huge part.
We had so much fun at the Halloween trunk fest party ♥️♥️♥️🤩
