Fort Meade's School Age Center runs a full-day summer day camp for military-affiliated children in grades 1–5, following the Anne Arundel County Public Schools calendar from mid-June through late August. Operated by the installation's Child, Youth & School Services (MWR), it provides supervised care and activities Monday through Friday.

★★★★★Michael SI'm biased, but I do love this place. It offers so much for the youth. My children enjoyed the variety of activities during their before- and after-care school programs here. The staff are all big-hearted and do amazing work with the children. The snacks are top-notch. The strong partnership with 4H and Boys Club / Girls Club helps provide opportunities and life-skill development. And finally, I personally love this building. It's not often you get stylish or artistic architecture for Army facilities. This city street design of the building has so much character!!
